Farmers movement completed one year

On Friday, one year of the farmers' movement has been completed. On this occasion, farmers are gathering in large numbers on the borders of Delhi.

In Haryana, farmers have called a mahapanchayat on the anniversary of the agitation.

Since last night, pictures of farmers' celebrations are coming. Videos of women farmers performing giddha on the border with Delhi have also surfaced.

Farmers leaders are addressing their respective unions and a large number of farmers from different parts of the country have come to Delhi to listen to them.

Last year, on November 26, 2020, farmers from different parts of the country came to the borders of the capital under the 'Delhi Chalo' call to protest against the three agricultural laws.

They wanted to enter the city, but water cannons were fired from the police administration and they were prevented from entering Delhi by digging roads.

Since then till now farmers are agitating on different borders of Delhi.

Last week, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the withdrawal of these three laws and said that the process of repealing this law will be started in the winter session of Parliament.

But the farmers union says that they will not end the agitation till these laws are withdrawn and the Minimum Support Price (MSP) is implemented in the country.

For a year, these farmers coming from many parts of the country, facing cold, heat and rain as well as the second wave of Corona pandemic, continued their agitation and during this about 700 farmers died.
